VR38 JZ Smart Coil Conversion

This Smart coil Conversion utilizes brand new Vr38 OEM Coils. These coils have been proven time and time again to handle upwards of 2k hp and it fits under the OEM cover. The system eliminates the ignitor and replaces the stock coil packs completely. Installation is drop in on the 2J VVTI/Non-VVTI in the stock location and clears factory cover. This setup is designed specifically for those hunting high numbers and will not work with the Valvecover balance tubes. After careful testing, we have seen the extra 10mm of added room to significantly help keep the coils cool. Some 1JZ’s have different head castings and you will need to drill and tap a few shallow 6mmx1.0 holes for mounting points. If you have any concerns, please email us an overhead picture.
